Job Description

As a Senior SCCM Engineer at CVS Health, you will be a vital member of our IT team, responsible for managing and maintaining our enterprise-level SCCM infrastructure. Your expertise in SCCM will be essential in delivering efficient and reliable software deployments, updates, and configuration management to support our business needs.   1. Oversee the management and maintenance of our enterprise-level SCCM infrastructure.
  2. Ensure efficient and reliable software deployments, updates, and configuration management using SCCM.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop solutions using SCCM.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new SCCM features to continuously improve processes and efficiency.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SCCM infrastructure and deployments.
  6. Create and maintain documentation for SCCM processes and procedures.
  7. Train and mentor junior SCCM engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
  8. Work closely with security teams to ensure SCCM infrastructure and deployments are compliant with company policies and standards.
  9. Monitor SCCM infrastructure for performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize system performance.
  10. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for SCCM infrastructure and deployments.
  11. Collaborate with vendors to resolve any SCCM-related issues and coordinate upgrades and maintenance.
  12. Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for SCCM infrastructure.
  13. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of SCCM deployments.
  14. Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on SCCM infrastructure and deployments.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert for SCCM and provide guidance and recommendations for new projects and initiatives.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing And Administering Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (Sccm) In A Large Enterprise Environment.

  • Expertise In Designing, Implementing, And Maintaining Sccm Infrastructure, Including Site Hierarchy, Distribution Points, Software Update Points, And Reporting Services.

  • Strong Understanding Of Microsoft Technologies, Such As Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, And Powershell Scripting.

  • Proven Experience In Automating Software Deployments, Patch Management, And Application Packaging Using Sccm.

  • Excellent Troubleshooting Skills And Experience In Resolving Complex Issues Related To Sccm Client And Server Components, Including Software Distribution, Software Updates, And Inventory Management.
