- Receive and process incoming medication orders and prescriptions from various sources, including healthcare providers, patients, and other pharmacies.
- Accurately and efficiently pick, pack, and ship medications according to established protocols and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify appropriate personnel when supplies need to be replenished.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the safety and accuracy of medication handling.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure timely delivery of medications to patients and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the proper handling and storage of medications.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep detailed records of medications received, shipped, and returned to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of pharmacy equipment and supplies.
- Continuously seek out ways to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Pharmacy Warehouse Associate At Cvs Health Should Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education To Ensure They Have The Basic Knowledge And Skills Required For The Job.
Previous Warehouse Experience: Prior Experience Working In A Warehouse Setting, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Environment, Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Familiarity With Warehouse Operations And Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Attention To Detail: As A Pharmacy Warehouse Associate, One Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Accurately Track And Manage Inventory. This Includes Checking Expiration Dates, Lot Numbers, And Ensuring Proper Storage Of Medications And Supplies.
Basic Computer Skills: This Role Requires The Use Of Computer Systems To Manage Inventory And Track Shipments. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Basic Computer Skills And Be Comfortable Using Software Programs Such As Microsoft Excel And Inventory Management Systems.
