1. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the safety and accuracy of medication dispensing.
4. Communicate effectively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication dosages and interactions.
5. Process insurance claims and maintain patient profiles in accordance with company policies and procedures.
6. Adhere to all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy operations, including HIPAA.
7. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of medication and its proper handling, storage, and disposal.
8. Continuously update and maintain knowledge of new medications and their uses.
9. Act as a resource for customers by answering questions and providing information on over-the-counter medications and other healthcare products.
10. Collaborate with the pharmacy team to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and patient satisfaction.
11. Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking medications and supplies.
12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with all company policies and procedures.
13. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of pharmacy.
14. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve overall pharmacy goals and objectives.
