2. Assist pharmacists in accurately and efficiently filling prescriptions.
3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
4. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
5. Handle cash and credit transactions, including processing insurance claims.
6. Retrieve and file patient information and prescription records.
7. Ensure proper storage and handling of medications according to safety protocols.
8. Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve any issues.
9. Assist in inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies.
10. Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and proper storage.
11. Work collaboratively with other pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow.
12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
13. Continuously expand knowledge and skills through training and development opportunities.
14. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager.
