Pharmacy Operations Team Lead

CVS Health is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Pharmacy Operations Team as the Team Lead. The ideal candidate for this position is a problem solver who is passionate about driving results and leading by example. To be successful in this role, you should have strong organizational and communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.In addition to playing an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Operations Team, you will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and support to the team. You will be expected to ensure the team’s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and to help identify and address areas of operational improvement.The successful candidate for this position will have a minimum of 5 years of management experience in a pharmacy setting and a valid pharmacy technician license in the state where the store is located. A degree in pharmacy sciences, business management, or a related field is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities: -Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Pharmacy Operations Team -Ensure team’s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations -Identify and address areas of operational improvement -Work with team to develop and implement efficient processes -Evaluate team performance and develop plans for improvement -Maintain a professional attitude and stay calm under pressure -Communicate openly and effectively with team members and other departments -Provide training and mentoring to team members -Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner -Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed -Ensure the team is adhering to safety standards and protocols -Document and report team performance and activity metrics -Perform other duties as assigned
