Job Description

As a Pharmacy Manager at CVS Health, you will be responsible for providing pharmacy services to customers, including the management of day-to-day operations. You will ensure that the pharmacy team is providing the best possible customer service, while also ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of pharmacy operations, possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and be a motivated self-starter. Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including staff management, customer service and inventory management.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Provide customers with accurate and timely prescription services.
  4. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers and colleagues.
  5. Train and mentor pharmacy staff to ensure they are providing the highest level of customer service.
  6. Monitor the performance of the pharmacy team and take corrective action as needed.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy efficiency and profitability.
  8. Demonstrate a commitment to quality care and patient safety.
  9. Evaluate and purchase new pharmaceutical products and equipment.
  10. Monitor inventory levels and order new pharmaceuticals as needed.
