At CVS Health, we are looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an organized and efficient individual with a commitment to accuracy and detail. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for tracking inventory, as well as managing product ordering and returns to ensure the store shelves are always stocked with the desired items.The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, along with 2 years of experience in inventory management, ordering, and/or store operations. You should possess strong computer skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Above all, we are seeking someone with the commitment and dedication to ensure that CVS Health is always well-stocked and our customers are always satisfied.
Responsibilities:
- Track and monitor inventory levels across all store locations.
- Accurately maintain records of all inventory transactions.
- Place orders for new inventory and return old or damaged items.
- Keep shelves stocked and regularly rotate stock to ensure freshness.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure they are within acceptable ranges.
- Resolve any discrepancies in inventory counts and reports.
- Investigate stock shortages and identify causes.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Implement procedures to improve inventory accuracy and management.
- Utilize inventory management software to track and monitor inventory levels.
- Assist with pricing and stocking of items in store.
- Manage and update inventory database.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Ensure all company policies and regulations are followed.
