Job Description

CVS Health is seeking an experienced and highly organized Inventory Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our inventory accurate and up-to-date, ensuring that our products are always in stock and ready to be shipped out to customers. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of inventory and logistics procedures. If you are a detail-oriented individual that takes pride in their work, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels in the database
  2. Monitor stock levels and order new supplies when necessary
  3. Track and manage inventory shipments, including receiving, storage and distribution
  4. Monitor inventory control processes, such as rotation and expiration date tracking
  5. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  6. Develop and implement inventory tracking systems
  7. Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
  8. Improve inventory accuracy and visibility
  9. Prepare accurate inventory reports
  10. Troubleshoot inventory related problems and provide solutions
