
District Support Immunization Pharmacist
CVS Health is looking for an experienced, organized, and passionate District Support Immunization Pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to Immunization Pharmacists while helping to ensure the CVS Health Immunization program exceeds all quality, safety, and compliance standards. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals and have a direct impact on patient care and public health.The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Pharm D, or a Doctoral Degree in Pharmacy, as well as at least one year of experience in a retail or health care setting. The candidate should have excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills, as well as an understanding of applicable state and federal regulations. They should have a strong dedication to quality, safety, and compliance, and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other Immunization Pharmacists to ensure that all CVS Health Immunization program standards are met.
- Monitor and audit Immunization Pharmacists to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement training programs for Immunization Pharmacists to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
- Provide direct patient care, including immunizations and injections.
- Assist in developing and monitoring Immunization Pharmacists to ensure accuracy and timeliness in providing patient care.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and health care providers.
- Act as a resource for Immunization Pharmacists to answer questions and provide guidance.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the Immunization program and make necessary improvements.
- Keep up to date with changes in state and federal regulations.
- Participate in outreach and education initiatives to promote immunization awareness.
