Job Description

CVS Health is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Deputy Chief Medical Officer (DCMO) to join our Medicare Medical Affairs team. This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare professional to make an impact in the lives of millions of patients. The DCMO will be a strategic leader and thought partner in the development and execution of the Medicare Medical Affairs strategy and will collaborate closely with the CMO in driving the CVS Health mission forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Medicare industry and be a strategic thinker with an ability to translate insights into actionable solutions. The DCMO must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to effectively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across disciplines.Required Qualifications: • MD/DO degree• Board Certification in appropriate specialty• 5+ years of experience in a Medicare-related leadership role• Proven track record in developing and executing successful Medicare programs• Expertise in Medicare regulatory, reimbursement, and quality compliance• Understanding of healthcare technology, data analytics, and other related topics• Ability to think critically and strategically, build relationships, and foster collaboration• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
