- Dispensing Medications: The Part-Time Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications to patients in accordance with state and federal laws, as well as CVS Health policies and procedures.
- Providing Patient Care: The Pharmacist will play a critical role in providing superior patient care by counseling patients on their medications, answering any questions or concerns, and assisting with medication adherence.
- Maintaining Inventory: It will be the responsibility of the Pharmacist to monitor and maintain inventory levels, order and receive shipments, and ensure all medications are properly stored and labeled.
- Complying with Regulations: The successful candidate will be expected to stay up-to-date on all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy, and ensure compliance at all times.
- Collaborating with Healthcare Providers: The Pharmacist will work closely with other healthcare providers, including doctors and nurses, to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Exceptional Customer Service: The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and customer service skills, and will be expected to provide exceptional service to both patients and customers.
- Maintaining Records: The Pharmacist will be responsible for maintaining accurate and organized records of all medications dispensed, as well as any interactions with patients and healthcare providers.

Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Prescription Processing, Inventory Management, And Patient Counseling. This Knowledge Is Essential For Providing High-Quality Patient Care And Ensuring Compliance With Company Policies And Procedures.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Staff Pharmacist, The Candidate Will Interact With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Team Members On A Daily Basis. Strong Communication Skills Are Necessary To Effectively Communicate With Diverse Groups Of People And Provide Clear And Accurate Information.
Prior Experience In A Retail Pharmacy Setting: Cvs Health Is A Retail Pharmacy Chain, And Experience Working In A Similar Setting Is Highly Preferred. This Includes Experience With Retail Pharmacy Systems, Insurance Claims Processing, And Customer Service.
Ability To Work Flexible Hours: The Candidate Should Be Willing And Able To Work A Flexible Schedule, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. This Is Important To Ensure Adequate Coverage For The Pharmacy And Meet The Needs Of Patients Who May Require Medications Outside Of Traditional Business Hours.
