Employee Relations Specialist

Responsible for providing direction and interpretation to business partners and leaders on matters related to company policies, coaching and corrective action, Code of Conduct and employment law. Partner with Human Resources Business Partners on high and mid level situations (ie., harassment, or discrimination, or any legal or agency claim) and review of issues/decisions as needed. Conduct investigations and work with leaders to resolve associate complaints. Set clear expectations and confirm completion of documentation for legal claims, federal agency location visits, personnel file requests, etc. Case manage the workplace hotline claims including assigning cases, following up on claims, case closure, and intervening or partnering with legal where warranted. Manage background check process to confirm that it meets all state requirements for pre-hire and failed background check notices, following up as needed.
