
Manager, Middle Market Sales
A Middle Market Sales Manager is responsible for building a winning culture through training and developing Sales Reps, building relationships with key customers, and ensuring the team’s freight is properly serviced. Ensure Sales Reps are proficient in portfolio activities including, but not limited to: Proper lead targeting based on sales level and experience; Utilizing Bazooka CRM to advance opportunities; Adding new customers and removing under-performing customers. Teach Sales Reps to identify viable opportunities based on account size/complexity and work with Sales Reps to develop and execute an appropriate account strategy. Plan and execute daily/weekly/monthly sales related exercises including, but not limited to y-cording, group cold calls, and mock calls.
Minimum of 2 years manager experience
5 years of logistics experience (preferably 3PL)
Experience in setting team and individual targets aligned with company goals to drive growth
Able to report and document deficiencies in performance and behavior
Time Management
