Wireless Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Wireless Engineer to join our team at Cox Business. As a Wireless Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and managing wireless networks for our clients. You’ll need a good understanding of wireless technologies, including wireless networking, RF engineering, and 802.11 standards. We’re looking for an individual who can think strategically and execute on their plans.Experience with wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular systems is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. You should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as an understanding of networking protocols and architectures. Additionally, you should be comfortable with troubleshooting complex technical issues. Responsibilities: -Design and build wireless networks for clients -Maintain and troubleshoot existing wireless networks -Develop and implement strategies for wireless network design and optimization -Stay current with emerging wireless technologies, standards, and protocols -Analyze and resolve wireless network performance issues -Perform RF engineering tasks, including signal analysis, site surveys, and antenna design -Identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve wireless network performance -Develop and maintain strong customer relationships -Train and mentor junior engineers as needed
