Job Description

In this role, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating potential security risks, working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security measures, and staying up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a proven track record of success in application security and a drive to continuously enhance our security posture.   1. Conduct regular security assessments and audits of critical applications to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.
  2. Develop and implement application security policies, procedures, and standards.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into the development process.
  4. Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  5. Stay updated on emerging security threats and industry trends, and recommend and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
  6. Conduct training and awareness programs for employees on best practices for application security.
  7. Perform code reviews and security testing to identify and address any security flaws.
  8. Work closely with third-party vendors to ensure the security of their applications and systems.
  9. Monitor and analyze security logs and reports to identify and address any potential security breaches.
  10. Participate in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  11. Collaborate with other security professionals to share knowledge and best practices.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry certifications and trainings to continuously improve and enhance skills.
  13. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.
  14. Communicate regularly with management and stakeholders to provide updates on security risks and measures being taken to mitigate them.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve security processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of protection for sensitive data and critical applications.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Application Security: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Application Security, With A Strong Understanding Of Industry Best Practices And Standards.

  • Proficiency In Secure Coding And Vulnerability Assessment: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Secure Coding Techniques, And Be Able To Perform Thorough Vulnerability Assessments To Identify And Mitigate Potential Risks.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Web Application Security: The Candidate Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Web Application Security, Including Common Vulnerabilities And Their Mitigation Techniques, Such As Cross-Site Scripting (Xss), Sql Injection, And Authentication Vulnerabilities.

  • Experience With Industry Security Tools And Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience With Industry-Leading Security Tools And Technologies, Such As Network And Application Scanners, Code Analysis Tools, And Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: In Addition To Technical Expertise, The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Effectively Work With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Quality Assurance, And Product Managers, To Implement And Maintain Security Measures Throughout The Application Development Lifecycle.
