  1. Maintain and manage the company's fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and driver compliance.
  2. Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and efficient use of fleet resources.
  3. Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  4. Monitor vehicle usage and track data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of fleet vehicles to meet business needs.
  6. Conduct regular inspections and audits of fleet vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
  7. Manage and maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, maintenance, and expenses.
  8. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective servicing of fleet vehicles.
  9. Train and educate drivers on safe and efficient vehicle operation and maintenance.
  10. Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics and provide regular reports to management.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to fleet operations and make recommendations for process improvements.
  12. Respond to and resolve any fleet-related issues or emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all team members and stakeholders involved in fleet operations.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Fleet Management Software: A Fleet Operations Support Specialist At Cox Business Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Fleet Management Software, Such As Fleetio Or Fleetwave, To Effectively Manage And Track Company Vehicles And Equipment.

  • Experience In Fleet Maintenance: Candidates Should Possess Experience In Fleet Maintenance And Repair To Ensure That All Vehicles And Equipment Are Operating Safely And Efficiently.

  • Strong Organizational Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Manage A High Volume Of Tasks And Schedules. Candidates Should Have Excellent Organizational Skills To Ensure That All Fleet Operations Run Smoothly.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Fleet Operations Support Specialist, One Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Drivers, Mechanics, And Other Team Members To Coordinate Maintenance And Repairs, Track Vehicle Usage, And Address Any Issues That Arise.

  • Knowledge Of Dot Regulations: Cox Business Operates A Fleet Of Commercial Vehicles, And Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Department Of Transportation (Dot) Regulations Related To Vehicle Maintenance, Driver Hours Of Service, And Safety Compliance.
