Job Description

Cox Business is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Field Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing reliable and comprehensive telecommunications services. As a Field Technician, you will have the opportunity to provide technical support to our customers and troubleshoot issues with our products and services in the field. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a courteous and professional demeanor, and the ability to work independently and proactively. If you have a knack for troubleshooting and the technical aptitude to learn quickly, we'd love to hear from you! Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role• Knowledge of telecommunications services• Working knowledge of installation/repair of telecommunications systems• Excellent customer service skills• Ability to work independently and proactively• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to customers and troubleshoot issues with products and services in the field.
  2. Maintain excellent customer service skills, professional demeanor, and courteous attitude.
  3. Work independently and proactively to resolve customer issues.
  4. Install and repair telecommunications systems and equipment.
  5. Utilize problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve customer technical issues.
  6. Stay up to date with the latest telecommunications technologies and industry trends.
  7. Maintain records of customer service activities and follow up with customers as needed.
  8. Provide feedback to management regarding customer service and technical issues.
  9. Adhere to safety regulations.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
