Knowledge Of Fiber Optic Technology: A Fiber Technician I Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Fiber Optic Technology, Including Installation, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting Of Fiber Optic Cables And Equipment.
Experience With Telecommunications Equipment: Candidates Should Be Familiar With Various Telecommunications Equipment Such As Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (Otdrs), Fusion Splicers, And Power Meters.
Ability To Read And Interpret Design Documents: The Role Requires The Ability To Read And Interpret Design Documents And Schematics, Including Blueprints, Maps, And Technical Drawings.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Fiber Technician I, Effective Communication Is Crucial For Collaborating With Team Members, Customers, And Vendors.
