  1. Provide technical support for Cox Business' cloud-based VDI solutions.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to virtual desktop environments.
  3. Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth functioning of clients' VDI environments.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest VDI technologies and trends.
  5. Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their technical concerns and inquiries.
  6. Continuously learn and improve technical skills to enhance support services.
  7. Proactively identify and recommend improvements to VDI systems and processes.
  8. Document technical solutions and create knowledge base articles for internal and external use.
  9. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
  10. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support to clients.
  11. Adhere to established service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  12. Train and mentor junior support engineers on VDI technologies and processes.
  13. Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical expertise and support during client meetings and presentations.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on all VDI-related matters within the organization.
  15. Maintain a strong understanding of Cox Business' products and services to effectively support clients.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience With Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Vdi): A Cloud Support Engineer Ii, Vdi Should Have A Strong Background In Implementing And Supporting Vdi Solutions, Such As Vmware Horizon Or Citrix Virtual Apps And Desktops, In A Cloud Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Cloud Computing Technologies: This Role Requires A Solid Understanding Of Cloud Computing Concepts And Technologies, Such As Amazon Web Services (Aws), Microsoft Azure, Or Google Cloud Platform, As Well As Experience With Cloud-Based Infrastructure And Services.

  • Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: A Cloud Support Engineer Ii, Vdi Should Possess Excellent Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills To Quickly Identify And Resolve Issues With Vdi Environments, As Well As The Ability To Diagnose And Troubleshoot Complex Technical Problems.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Position Involves Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, System Administrators, And Network Engineers, So Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For Success.

  • Relevant Certifications: Cox Business May Require Candidates For This Position To Hold Relevant Certifications, Such As Vmware Certified Professional (Vcp), Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (Cca-V), Or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, To Demonstrate Their Expertise In Cloud Computing And Vdi Technologies.
