IRC Incident Coordinator
Performs claim intake and completes response procedures for accidents and security incidents. Provides support functions associated with the dispatching of hazardous materials and confirmation of permits. Initiates appropriate responses as required internally and/or as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration such as Department of Transportation accident testing. Completes other administrative duties. Provides training on an on-going basis to newer IRC staff. Participate in tasks of a sensitive and highly complex nature. Follows IRC Processes and Protocols.
In-depth knowledge of regulations applicable to trucking/transportation companies is a plus.
Ability to work with and in-between multiple levels of internal infrastructure.
Able to work under pressure, with multiple, sometimes competing priorities, and within deadlines
