Job Description

Are you a highly skilled and experienced pharmacometrician looking for a new challenge? Covance is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Pharmacometrics team and lead cutting-edge projects in drug development.As a Senior Manager at Covance, you will utilize your expertise in pharmacokinetics, statistical modeling, and simulation to support drug development programs and contribute to regulatory submissions. You will be a key player in a dynamic and collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement pharmacometric strategies that drive decision-making throughout the drug development process.We are looking for candidates with a PhD in pharmacokinetics, biostatistics, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.   • Lead and manage cutting-edge pharmacometrics projects in drug development
  • Utilize expertise in pharmacokinetics, statistical modeling, and simulation to support drug development programs
  • Contribute to regulatory submissions by providing pharmacometric analysis and expertise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement pharmacometric strategies
  • Drive decision-making throughout the drug development process
  • Manage a team of pharmacometricians and provide guidance and mentorship
  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide updates on project progress
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in pharmacometrics
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of project deliverables
  • Represent the pharmacometrics team in internal and external meetings and presentations
  • Train and develop team members on pharmacometric techniques and methodologies
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies
  • Continuously strive for process improvement and optimization in pharmacometric practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Pharmacometrics Or Related Field (E.g. Pharmacology, Biostatistics, Pharmaceutical Sciences)

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Pharmacometrics Or Related Quantitative Discipline, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Cro Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Drug Development Processes And Regulatory Requirements

  • Experience With Modeling And Simulation Techniques, Such As Population Pk/Pd Modeling And Exposure-Response Analysis

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Stakeholders.
