Covance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Active Directory Administrator to join our dynamic team.   1. Manage and maintain the overall health of the Active Directory infrastructure for the organization.
  2. Monitor and troubleshoot any issues related to Active Directory services, ensuring a high level of availability and performance.
  3. Design, implement, and maintain Active Directory policies, procedures, and standards.
  4. Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Active Directory best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
  5. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Active Directory with other systems and applications.
  6. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
  7. Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to optimize the Active Directory environment.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation for Active Directory infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
  9. Plan and execute the migration of users, groups, and resources to the Active Directory environment.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Active Directory technology, and make recommendations for its implementation within the organization.
  11. Provide on-call support for critical Active Directory related issues.
  12. Work closely with vendors and third-party providers to resolve any technical issues and ensure timely delivery of services.
  13. Train and mentor junior team members on Active Directory administration best practices.
  14. Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing related to Active Directory services.
  15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to improve system performance and availability.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience With Active Directory: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working With Active Directory In A Large Enterprise Environment. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Architecture, Design, And Best Practices For Managing Active Directory.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Windows Server: As Active Directory Is Closely Integrated With Windows Server, The Senior Active Directory Administrator Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Windows Server Operating Systems And Be Able To Troubleshoot And Resolve Issues Related To It.

  • Proficient In Powershell Scripting: The Senior Active Directory Administrator Should Have Advanced Skills In Powershell Scripting To Automate Routine Tasks And Perform Bulk Operations In Active Directory.

  • Experience With Group Policy Management: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Designing And Managing Group Policies In Active Directory To Ensure Proper Security And Access Controls For Users And Devices.

  • Excellent Troubleshooting Skills: The Senior Active Directory Administrator Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Troubleshooting And Resolving Complex Active Directory Issues In A Timely Manner. They Should Be Familiar With Various Diagnostic Tools And Techniques To Identify And Resolve Problems.
