  1. Perform blood draws on patients in a safe and accurate manner, following established protocols and procedures.
  2. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals by maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
  3. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff.
  4. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all collected samples, including patient information and sample labeling.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and well-being during the blood draw process.
  6. Handle and process samples with care to maintain sample integrity and accuracy of test results.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in phlebotomy techniques and procedures.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of biohazardous waste.
  10. Provide assistance and support to colleagues as needed, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  11. Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
  12. Participate in continuing education and training to maintain skills and knowledge.
