  1. Perform phlebotomy procedures on patients in a safe and efficient manner.
  2. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when collecting, labeling, and transporting blood samples.
  3. Ensure proper patient identification and follow established protocols for sample collection.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients to ensure comfort and understanding of the phlebotomy process.
  5. Handle and process samples according to laboratory guidelines and procedures.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
  7. Utilize excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for patients.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to protect both patients and staff.
  9. Keep accurate and thorough records of all phlebotomy procedures and patient information.
  10. Stay current with new techniques and procedures in the field of phlebotomy.
  11. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional and ethical manner.
  13. Participate in training and educational opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  14. Follow all company policies and procedures, including compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  15. Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Interact With Patients And Healthcare Professionals.

  • Completion Of A Phlebotomy Training Program Or Certification From An Accredited Institution.

  • At Least 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomist In A Clinical Setting.

  • Proficiency In Venipuncture, Capillary Puncture, And Other Blood Collection Techniques.
