Certification: A Phlebotomist At Covance-Labcorp Should Possess A Valid Certification From A Reputable Organization Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or National Healthcareer Association (Nha).
Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomist In A Clinical Or Laboratory Setting. Previous Experience In A High-Volume Environment Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards: Candidates Should Possess An Understanding Of The Latest Industry Standards And Procedures For Phlebotomy, Including Proper Handling And Labeling Of Blood Samples, Universal Precautions, And Infection Control.
