- Perform blood draws on study participants in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of collected specimens.
- Follow established procedures and protocols for specimen collection and processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Monitor and report any adverse reactions or complications during the blood draw process.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Communicate effectively with study participants, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines for phlebotomy and specimen handling.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of study participants and their medical information.
- Troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies with specimens and report them to the appropriate personnel.

- Stay updated on the latest technology and techniques in phlebotomy and implement them as appropriate.

Completion Of A Phlebotomy Training Program: Candidates Should Have Completed A Certified Training Program In Phlebotomy From An Accredited Institution.
Certification: A Valid Certification From A Recognized Organization Such As The National Healthcareer Association (Nha) Or The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Is Required.
Experience: At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Or Hospital Setting Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures: Phlebotomists Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures Related To Blood Collection And Handling.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy And Attention To Detail Are Crucial In This Role As Phlebotomists Are Responsible For Collecting And Labeling Samples Correctly To Ensure Accurate Test Results.
