Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Biochemistry, Or Medical Laboratory Science.
Certification As A Pathologists' Assistant By The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp).
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Or Research Laboratory, Preferably In A Pathology Setting.
Proficiency In Gross Examination Of Surgical Specimens, Tissue Processing, And Preparation Of Slides For Microscopic Examination.
Knowledge Of Laboratory Safety Protocols And Ability To Adhere To Strict Quality Control Measures.
