- Lead and manage a team of microbiology scientists and technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional development and career growth.
- Oversee the timely and accurate delivery of microbiology support services to clients, ensuring high quality and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for microbiology support services, ensuring consistency and efficiency in processes.
- Monitor team performance and productivity metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain effective communication and processes for the timely and accurate completion of projects.
- Maintain and update knowledge of industry developments and best practices in microbiology, incorporating new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the microbiology support services team.
- Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and requests, ensuring prompt and professional communication and resolution of issues.
- Provide input and support for business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including but not limited to GLP, GMP, and ISO.
- Act as a role model for ethical and professional behavior, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Microbiology, Biology, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Laboratory Or Microbiology Support Role.
Previous Experience Managing A Team Or Supervisory Experience.
Strong Knowledge Of Microbiology Laboratory Techniques And Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team.
