  1. Perform diagnostic evaluation and interpretation of hematopathology specimens using advanced laboratory techniques and equipment.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Hematopathologist Must Have A Medical Doctor (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That They Have A Strong Foundation In Medical Knowledge And Can Effectively Diagnose And Treat Hematologic Diseases.

  • Board Certification In Hematopathology: The Candidate Must Be Board-Certified In Hematopathology By Either The American Board Of Pathology (Abp) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Pathology (Aobp). This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise And Competency In The Field.

  • Experience In Hematopathology: Covance-Labcorp Would Prefer Candidates With At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Hematopathologist. This Experience Ensures That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Laboratory Processes And Techniques Used In The Field.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Hematopathologist Must Have Strong Analytical Skills To Effectively Interpret Laboratory Results And Diagnose Complex Hematologic Conditions. They Must Be Able To Critically Analyze Data And Make Accurate And Timely Diagnoses.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Hematopathologist, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Other Healthcare Professionals, Including Pathologists, Physicians, And Laboratory Technicians.
