- Perform hematology testing procedures accurately and efficiently to support clinical trials and research projects.
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Adhere to all established laboratory protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate and prioritize testing schedule to meet project deadlines.
- Review and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Maintain thorough and organized documentation of all test results and procedures.
- Assist with quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of testing.
- Communicate with project managers and other team members to provide updates on testing progress and any issues or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on new developments and technologies in the field of hematology testing and make recommendations for improvement or implementation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Train and mentor new team members on laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Maintain confidentiality of all research and testing data.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the company's mission and values by actively promoting and upholding ethical standards and practices.
Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science, Hematology, Or Related Field.
Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Or Medical Technologist (Mt) Through A Recognized Accrediting Agency (E.g. Ascp Or Amt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Hematology Laboratory Setting.
Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Hematology Instrumentation, Including Automated Cell Counters, Slide Stainers, And Coagulation Analyzers.
Strong Knowledge Of Hematology Principles And Practices, Including Specimen Processing, Quality Control, And Interpretation Of Results.
