- Conduct ecotoxicology studies to assess the impact of chemicals and pollutants on the environment and its inhabitants.
- Analyze and interpret data from ecotoxicology studies to identify potential risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute ecotoxicology studies in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and advancements in the field of ecotoxicology to inform study design and methodologies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance and support.
- Prepare and present research findings to clients, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines for ecotoxicology studies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of study data and results.
- Train and mentor junior team members to build a strong and knowledgeable ecotoxicology team.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to colleagues and clients on ecotoxicology-related matters.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ecotoxicology studies.
- Participate in scientific conferences and industry events to stay informed about emerging trends and network with other professionals in the field.

Advanced Degree: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology, Toxicology, Or A Related Field Is Required For This Position. A Phd Is Preferred.
Experience In Ecotoxicology: Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Conducting Ecotoxicology Studies, Preferably In A Laboratory Setting. Experience With A Variety Of Species And Test Methods Is Highly Desirable.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Guidelines: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements For Conducting Ecotoxicology Studies, Including Oecd, Epa, And Other International Guidelines.
Analytical Skills: The Ability To Analyze And Interpret Complex Data, As Well As Troubleshoot And Problem Solve, Is Crucial For This Role. Experience With Statistical Analysis Software Is Preferred.
Communication And Teamwork: Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For Collaborating With Colleagues And Presenting Study Results To Clients. The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment Is Also Highly Valued At Covance-Labcorp.
