1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the cytology laboratory, ensuring efficient and accurate delivery of results.
2. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all laboratory processes and procedures.
3. Monitor and maintain quality control measures to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
4. Train and supervise laboratory staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and adherence to laboratory protocols.
5. Maintain laboratory compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as corporate policies and procedures.

7. Monitor and manage laboratory inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effectiveness.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational issues that may arise in the laboratory.
