
Clinical Laboratory Manager - Microbiology

- Oversee and manage all aspects of the microbiology laboratory, including personnel, equipment, and processes.
- Lead and mentor a team of laboratory professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to laboratory standards.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of clinical laboratory specimens, including sample preparation, testing, and result reporting.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to maintain the highest level of accuracy and reliability in laboratory testing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in microbiology, and implement new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to provide comprehensive and integrated laboratory services.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including CLIA, CAP, and other accrediting bodies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to laboratory operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Bachelor's Degree In Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Science, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Microbiology Laboratory.
Previous Experience In A Management Or Supervisory Role.
Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Regulations And Quality Control Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.
