Director, Product Design

As a Director of Design for Enterprise you’ll have a strategic design hand in bringing new products to life, working everyday with your partners in Product Management, Research, Data Science and Engineering. Build brilliant relationships with cross functional partners. Organize, direct, mentor and review the work of highly skilled team of designers working with you, relentlessly pursuing better design and inspiring your team. Develop internal Design Team initiatives that improve the work of the entire group, such as defining experience principles, planning and conducting user research, refining UI and interaction standards, contributing to brand strategy and fine tuning Coursera’s delivery process with engineering. Conduct efficient and productive design reviews, guide leaders of product management and engineering to a unified vision of the product — you are the clearest voice of the user through the product development process. Develop and mentor team design talent including hiring and professional development. Review candidate portfolios, interview and make recommendations through the hiring process.
