  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive policy strategy for Corteva and the agriculture industry in the US.
  2. Advocate for the company's interests and priorities with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry organizations, and other influential groups.
  3. Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments that impact the agriculture industry, and provide timely updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
  4. Build and maintain strong working relationships with policymakers, industry leaders, and other stakeholders to advance the company's goals and initiatives.
  5. Represent Corteva at industry events, conferences, and other forums to promote the company's position on key policy issues.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company to ensure alignment of policy efforts with business objectives.
  7. Manage and oversee external consultants and lobbyists to support the company's policy efforts.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging issues that may impact the company's operations.
  9. Prepare and deliver presentations, briefings, and other communication materials to effectively communicate the company's policy positions.
  10. Provide guidance and support to regional and local teams on policy matters and ensure consistency with the company's overall strategy.
  11. Serve as a subject matter expert on agriculture policy and provide insights and recommendations to inform decision-making within the company.
  12. Keep track of policy-related expenses and manage budget for policy initiatives and advocacy efforts.
  13. Stay updated on industry best practices and identify opportunities to enhance the company's policy efforts.
  14. Act as a thought leader within the company and the industry, promoting a culture of innovation and sustainability.
  15. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards while carrying out job responsibilities.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Public Policy, Government Relations, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Government Affairs Or Industry Relations, Preferably In The Agricultural Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Us Government Policies, Regulations, And Legislative Processes.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Executing Effective Advocacy Strategies And Managing Complex Issues.
