  1. Manage and oversee all aspects of seed processing operations, including seed cleaning, conditioning, and packaging.
  2. Monitor and maintain the quality and purity of seeds through proper handling, storage, and processing.
  3. Develop and implement efficient seed processing procedures to ensure timely delivery of high-quality seeds.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any issues or challenges in the seed processing process.
  5. Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all seed processing activities.
  7. Troubleshoot and troubleshoot any technical or mechanical issues with seed processing equipment.
  8. Train and supervise seed processing team members to ensure consistent and accurate execution of processes.
  9. Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies in seed processing to improve efficiency and productivity.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Agriculture Or Related Field: A Seed Processing Specialist At Corteva Is Expected To Have A Strong Background In Agriculture, Including Knowledge Of Seed Genetics, Plant Breeding, And Crop Production.

  • Experience In Seed Processing: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Seed Processing, Including Knowledge Of Seed Cleaning, Grading, And Packaging Techniques.

  • Knowledge Of Seed Quality Standards And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Seed Quality Standards Set By Organizations Such As The Association Of Official Seed Analysts (Aosa) And The International Seed Testing Association (Ista).

  • Familiarity With Seed Processing Equipment: Corteva Utilizes State-Of-The-Art Equipment For Seed Processing, And Candidates Should Be Familiar With The Operation And Maintenance Of Seed Processing Equipment Such As Gravity Separators, Pneumatic Conveyors, And Optical Sorters.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Organizational Skills: A Seed Processing Specialist Should Have Excellent Attention To Detail To Ensure The Accuracy And Consistency Of Seed Processing. They Should Also Possess Strong Organizational Skills To Manage And Maintain Seed Inventory And Production Records.
