- Develop and implement the national agronomy strategy for Corteva's seed business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address key agronomic challenges faced by farmers.
- Provide technical expertise and support to sales teams, ensuring they are equipped to effectively promote and sell our seed products.
- Act as a key point of contact for industry partners and stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, research, and advancements in agronomy to continuously improve our offerings and stay ahead of the competition.
- Lead and mentor a team of agronomy experts, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals and drive business success.
- Conduct field trials and experiments to assess the performance of our seed products and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams and external partners on agronomy-related topics.
- Represent Corteva at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, showcasing our agronomic expertise and thought leadership.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to inform business decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards related to agronomy and seed production.
- Continuously evaluate and improve our agronomy processes, systems, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the agronomy team and across the organization.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Corteva, promoting our mission and values to stakeholders and the wider agricultural community.
- Embrace and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and the organization as a whole.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Agronomy Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Agronomy, Preferably In The Seed Industry.
Proven Leadership Skills And Experience In Managing A Team Of Agronomists.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Crop Production And Seed Technology.
Ability To Develop And Implement Agronomy Strategies To Support Business Objectives.
