  1. Conduct thorough research and analysis to evaluate the potential risks of our products on human health and the environment.
  2. Ensure that all regulatory submissions and product labels comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  3. Stay up-to-date with current toxicology research and regulations to inform decision making and product development.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for product safety and compliance.
  5. Communicate effectively with regulatory agencies and provide support for product registrations and approvals.
  6. Develop and maintain detailed reports and documentation to support regulatory submissions.
  7. Conduct toxicological risk assessments to determine the potential hazards of our products.
  8. Participate in product development and review processes to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  9. Provide expert toxicological knowledge and guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  10. Proactively identify and address potential regulatory issues or concerns related to product safety.
  11. Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging toxicological research and developments to inform product development and regulatory compliance.
  12. Educate and train team members on toxicology principles and practices to promote a culture of safety and responsibility.
  13. Represent the company in external meetings, conferences, and events related to toxicology and regulatory affairs.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Toxicology: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Toxicology Or A Related Field Is Required For A Regulatory Toxicologist Position At Corteva. A Phd Degree May Be Preferred For More Senior Roles.

  • Expertise In Regulatory Guidelines: A Thorough Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Regulations Related To Toxicology And Chemical Safety Is Essential For A Regulatory Toxicologist At Corteva. This Includes Knowledge Of Agencies Such As The Epa, Fda, And Osha.

  • Experience With Risk Assessment: Candidates Must Have Experience Conducting Risk Assessments For Chemicals And Products. This Includes Knowledge Of Toxicological And Environmental Fate Data, As Well As The Ability To Interpret And Communicate Results To Various Stakeholders.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Regulatory Toxicologist Must Be Able To Analyze And Interpret Complex Data Sets, Including Toxicological, Environmental, And Regulatory Data. They Should Also Be Able To Identify Potential Risks And Make Recommendations For Risk Mitigation.

  • Communication And Teamwork: Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills Are Essential For A Regulatory Toxicologist At Corteva. They Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Scientific Information To Non-Technical Audiences And Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
