  1. Develop and implement precision phenotyping methods for crop plants.
  2. Collaborate with a team of scientists and researchers to optimize and validate phenotyping techniques.
  3. Contribute to the development of high-performing crops through precise and accurate phenotyping data.
  4. Utilize cutting-edge technology and equipment to collect and analyze phenotyping data.

Job Qualifications
  • Phd In Plant Biology Or Related Field: A Precision Phenotyping Post Doc At Corteva Will Require A Strong Background In Plant Biology Or A Related Field To Effectively Understand And Analyze Complex Plant Traits.

  • Experience With Phenotyping Techniques: This Position Will Require Candidates To Have Practical Experience With A Variety Of Phenotyping Techniques, Such As High-Throughput Imaging, Spectroscopy, And Remote Sensing, To Accurately Capture And Analyze Plant Traits.

  • Knowledge Of Statistical Analysis And Data Interpretation: The Ability To Analyze And Interpret Large Datasets Is Crucial For This Role. A Strong Foundation In Statistics And Data Analysis Will Be Necessary To Effectively Evaluate And Interpret Phenotyping Data.

  • Familiarity With Molecular Breeding Techniques: Precision Phenotyping Is Often Used In Conjunction With Molecular Breeding Techniques To Identify And Select Desirable Plant Traits. Knowledge And Experience With Molecular Techniques, Such As Genome Editing And Genetic Mapping, Will Be Highly Beneficial For This Position.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Precision Phenotyping Post Doc Will Work Closely With Other Scientists, Breeders, And Researchers Within Corteva. Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For Effectively Sharing Results And Collaborating On Projects Within A Team Environment.
