- Develop and implement government affairs strategies and plans in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze government policies, regulations, and legislative developments that may impact the agricultural industry in India and South Asia.
- Proactively engage with government officials and industry stakeholders to advocate for the company's interests and build strong relationships.
- Represent the company at government meetings, hearings, and other relevant events to ensure our voice is heard and our interests are represented.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide insights and recommendations on government affairs issues and their potential impact on the company.
- Stay informed about industry trends, dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform government affairs strategies and plans.
- Develop and maintain a network of key contacts in government and industry to support the company's interests.
- Provide guidance and support to local teams on government affairs and regulatory compliance matters.
- Monitor and report on relevant legislative and regulatory developments to internal stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential risks and opportunities related to government policies and regulations.
- Participate in industry associations and forums to stay abreast of industry developments and represent the company's interests.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on government affairs topics to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on best practices and industry standards for government affairs and incorporate them into the company's approach.
- Foster a culture of ethical and transparent government affairs practices within the company.

Therefore, The Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Building And Maintaining Strong Relationships With Key Stakeholders.
Excellent Communication And Advocacy Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Issues And Influence Decision-Making At The Highest Levels Of Government. The Candidate Should Have Exceptional Communication And Advocacy Skills, Both Written And Verbal.
