  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive workforce development strategy that aligns with Corning's overall business objectives.
  2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize employee development needs and opportunities.
  3. Design and deliver training programs and initiatives that address skills gaps and promote career growth for employees.
  4. Oversee the performance management process, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
  5. Create and maintain a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
  6. Monitor and analyze workforce trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance workforce development initiatives.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of workforce development professionals to ensure the successful implementation of programs and initiatives.
  9. Develop and manage the budget for workforce development activities.
  10. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of workforce development programs and make adjustments as needed.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in workforce development and integrate them into Corning's strategies.
  12. Serve as a champion for employee growth and development, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  13. Communicate and report on the progress and impact of workforce development initiatives to senior leadership.
  14. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to workforce development.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Workforce Development, Talent Management, Or Organizational Development.

  • Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Workforce Development Programs And Initiatives.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Leadership.
