- Develop and implement a comprehensive workforce development strategy that aligns with Corning's overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize employee development needs and opportunities.
- Design and deliver training programs and initiatives that address skills gaps and promote career growth for employees.
- Oversee the performance management process, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
- Create and maintain a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
- Monitor and analyze workforce trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance workforce development initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of workforce development professionals to ensure the successful implementation of programs and initiatives.
- Develop and manage the budget for workforce development activities.
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of workforce development programs and make adjustments as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in workforce development and integrate them into Corning's strategies.
- Serve as a champion for employee growth and development, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Communicate and report on the progress and impact of workforce development initiatives to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to workforce development.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Workforce Development, Talent Management, Or Organizational Development.
Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Workforce Development Programs And Initiatives.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Leadership.
