Job Description

Corning is looking for an experienced and motivated Supplier Diversity Program Manager to join our corporate team. The successful candidate will be an innovative problem solver who is passionate about creating an inclusive and diverse business environment. Our ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of supply chain management and corporate policies related to supplier diversity and inclusion.Qualifications:• 5+ years of experience in supplier diversity, procurement, or supply chain management• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Proven experience in successfully developing and managing supplier diversity programs• Ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders• Demonstrated knowledge of corporate sourcing, supplier selection, and contract management• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage supplier diversity programs that foster an inclusive and diverse business environment.
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Identify potential sources of new suppliers.
  4. Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with corporate policies related to supplier diversity.
  5. Analyze market trends and conditions to determine opportunities for cost savings or increased efficiency.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to increase supplier diversity and inclusion.
  7. Prepare reports and present findings to upper management.
  8. Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on supplier diversity initiatives.
  9. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier selection process.
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
