ServiceNow Engineer

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Engineer to join our team at Corning. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in ServiceNow, as well as a passion for problem-solving and excellent communication skills. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform for Corning. To be successful in this role, you’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, as well as 3+ years of experience working with ServiceNow. You must also have experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Additionally, you should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, understand the user experience design process, and be highly organized.We’re looking for someone who loves to solve complex problems and take initiative to drive positive change. Responsibilites:

1. Develop, manage, and maintain the ServiceNow platform for Corning
2. Create scripts and applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
3. Troubleshoot and debug complex technical problems
4. Monitor system performance and implement improvements
5. Create detailed technical documentation for ServiceNow
6. Liaise with other departments to ensure ServiceNow is optimized for their needs
7. Collaborate with the product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure successful product delivery
8. Manage user access and security roles
9. Research and stay up-to-date on ServiceNow best practices and trends
10. Assist with user training and technical support
