- Develop and implement quality management strategies and processes to ensure that all products meet or exceed company and industry standards.
- Lead a team of quality control technicians, providing guidance and training to ensure consistent and accurate product evaluations.
- Monitor and continuously improve the overall quality of products throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished goods.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and address any quality issues that arise.

- Communicate with suppliers and customers to resolve quality-related issues and maintain strong relationships.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve quality goals.
- Act as a champion for quality throughout the organization, promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
Extensive Knowledge Of Quality Management Principles And Methodologies: The Quality Management Lead At Corning Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of Quality Management Principles, Including Total Quality Management (Tqm), Six Sigma, And Lean Manufacturing. They Should Also Have Experience Implementing These Methodologies In A Manufacturing Setting.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Leader, The Quality Management Lead Must Have Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Decision-Making Skills. They Should Be Able To Motivate And Guide A Team To Achieve Quality Goals And Objectives, And Be Able To Effectively Collaborate With Other Departments And Stakeholders.
Quality Management Experience In A Manufacturing Environment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Quality Management In A Manufacturing Environment, Preferably In A Similar Industry To Corning.
