- Develop and implement production planning strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity in line with company goals and objectives.
- Oversee and manage a team of production planners, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and accurate execution of production plans.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to accommodate changes in demand or supply.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and logistics, to ensure smooth and efficient execution of production plans.
- Identify and resolve any production planning issues or bottlenecks, utilizing problem-solving skills to find efficient solutions.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to production planning and supply chain management.
- Train and develop team members on production planning processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all production planning activities.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize production and minimize waste.
- Prepare and present production planning reports and updates to senior management.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Continuously evaluate and improve production planning processes and systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement new products or processes into production plans.
Bachelor's Degree In Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Production Planning Or Supply Chain Management.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Develop And Implement Efficient Production Plans.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Coordinate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
Proficiency In Production Planning Software, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And Advanced Knowledge Of Microsoft Excel.
