  1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with department managers to create and maintain a culture of safety throughout the plant.
  4. Train and educate employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  5. Investigate and report on any safety incidents or accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  6. Stay informed of industry best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement of safety practices.
  7. Maintain all safety records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  8. Conduct safety meetings and trainings to promote awareness and engagement in safety protocols.
  9. Work with management to identify and mitigate potential safety risks in the plant.
  10. Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure readiness in case of emergencies.
  11. Monitor and analyze safety data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  12. Manage safety budget and make recommendations for necessary investments in safety equipment and resources.
  13. Collaborate with outside agencies and organizations to stay updated on safety regulations and standards.
  14. Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies during safety inspections and audits.
  15. Lead safety committees and represent the company in safety-related meetings and events.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Industrial Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Safety Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting.

  • In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Osha Regulations And Other Relevant Safety Standards.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Educate Employees On Safety Protocols.

  • Experience Developing And Implementing Safety Programs, Conducting Risk Assessments, And Investigating Incidents.
