Optical Scientist

The successful candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a commitment to excellence and strong interpersonal skills.To be considered for this role, you should have a Master’s degree in optical engineering or a related field and a minimum of three years of experience in an optical engineering role. Responsibilities:

1. Develop innovative optical systems and components based on optical design principles, optical materials, optical fabrication and testing.
2. Perform comprehensive research and development activities related to optical engineering.
3. Utilize optical simulation software to create prototypes, analyze data, and troubleshoot problems.
4. Collaborate with other researchers and engineers in the development of new technologies.
5. Keep up to date on advancements in the field of optics and photonics.
6. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and other documents to communicate progress and findings.
7. Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
8. Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the team.
