- Assist with the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Conduct research and analysis to support engineering projects and initiatives.
- Participate in problem-solving and troubleshooting activities to identify and address production issues.
- Utilize technical skills and knowledge to contribute to the design, testing, and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment.

Strong Understanding Of Manufacturing Processes: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Manufacturing Processes, Such As Machining, Assembly, And Quality Control, In Order To Effectively Contribute To The Manufacturing And Technology Engineering Team.
Proficiency In Engineering Software: The Intern Should Have Experience Using Engineering Software, Such As Cad Or Cam, To Design And Analyze Manufacturing Processes And Products.
Knowledge Of Lean Manufacturing Principles: Corning Values The Implementation Of Lean Manufacturing Principles To Improve Efficiency And Reduce Waste. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Working Knowledge Of Lean Practices And The Ability To Apply Them In A Manufacturing Setting.
