  1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment, facilities, and systems.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs.

  4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
  5. Communicate with production and engineering teams to ensure minimal downtime and efficient use of resources.
  6. Adhere to all safety and quality standards, policies, and procedures.
  7. Identify and source necessary replacement parts and materials.
  8. Collaborate with vendors and contractors for equipment repairs and installations.
  9. Continuously seek opportunities for process and equipment improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  10. Train and mentor new maintenance team members.
  11. Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry advancements related to maintenance.
  12. Participate in cross-functional teams to support plant-wide initiatives.
  13. Follow all environmental regulations and guidelines.

  15. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Skills: A Maintenance Technician At Corning Should Possess Strong Technical Skills And Knowledge In Areas Such As Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems, And Troubleshooting Equipment.
