Job Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Director, Supply Chain to join Corning’s team. Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the IT department within the supply chain environment.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of IT operations across the supply chain.
  3. Lead research and development efforts to identify new opportunities for improving the supply chain process.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the successful implementation of IT projects and initiatives.
  5. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective action.
  6. Establish policies and procedures for IT operations, and ensure compliance.
  7. Provide guidance and training to IT personnel to ensure optimal performance.
  8. Manage the budget of the IT department and ensure expenditures are within budget.
  9. Stay abreast of industry developments and identify new technologies that could benefit the supply chain.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other partners.
